Guitar has a non-original VH-1 in the neck (taken from an 3-pickup Burny SG) and a Gibson Burstbucker Pro #2 (slightly hotter wind) in the bridge. Previous owner replaced a lot of the electronics some pots, pickups, etc. Gutiarboretum has moved several and they are fantastic instruments with high-end craftsmanship and extended sustain. If you aren’t familiar with Burny, they are one of the better brands of MIJ clones. Not thick but not thin, with a great feel.īest guess is ’83 – ’85? It had stickers on the pickup rings which likely would have said VH-1, so it has to be newer than ’82, but no lightning bolt headstock inlay so won’t be newer than mid-’80s. Neck is a very nice rounded almost ’59 kind of profile.

Currently set up with low action and new D’Addario 10s. This is a beautiful, lightly aged, made in Japan Burny RLC-60 Custom LP in white which has yellowed just a bit into a perfect vintage cream color.įretless wonder frets with no indentations or major wear.
